- Be sure and pre-register your HOT Fair entries via mail by Sept 18th or the entry fee doubles on Sept 27th when you take your item in.
- We have about 15 volunteers demonstrating each day of the HOT Fair Oct 4th and 11th noon - 4pm (thank you).
- It was decided to (tentatively) hand paint ceramic YARN BOWLS for Waco Knitters 6th Anniversary celebration in October (details to follow).

Kaitlan finished an amazing red sweater and 9 Creativebug.com Cable Afghan knit-a-long blocks
Jill brought 46 wonderful hats knit by psychiatric hospital children to give to Providence newborns. We all signed a card congratulating the kiddos on a good job.
Barbara H is just back from NYC, Finland and TN. Welcome home!
Joycie G is crocheting baby hats and had 13 to donate.

Pat Q had mini-stockings and a hotpad to donate and is working on another hotpad.
Karen is knitting a second Baylor yellow/green stocking cap for her friend. The larger one will be donated. ;-)
Trish is crocheting an FANTABULOUS baby blanket for her grand daughter due in November in pink, dark purple and white cotton. The pink and purple squares have hearts. The white blocks will get 3D elephants in pink or purple.

Peggy is recuperating from her July 10th mastectomy and doing wonderfully. Great to see you Peggy!
Glenda is knitting a very pretty patchwork blanket made in strips.
Hannelore is knitting male adult hats and had some patterns to share.
Laura is knitting the sole to our Knit-a-Long Slipper. There was a completed Crochet-a-Long Slipper shown. We will continue these slippers at next Knitting Circle Sept 25th for anyone else interested.
Ginger is crocheting lovely lacy hats for her nursing home patients.
Janet A finished a baby hat and had 2 others for donation as well as 2 lapghans.
Sharon is working a pink baby blanket. The blue one is complete. They hear this week if she will need the pink or the blue!
Newcomer Lauren is knitting something in a fine pink crochet thread.
Donna knit several male adult hats and mini-stockings for donation.
78 items were collected for donation including the 46 hats knit by psychiatric hospital children to give to Providence newborns. Thank to you generous souls!
