Waco Knitters & Crocheters handmade and Waco Knitter Barbara H delivered 32 hats, 23 scarves and 1 lapghan to veterans at the local VA Hospital's hospice ward so they might enjoy the patio this fall/winter. Happy Veterans Day! Thank you!
Waco Knitters & Crocheters also hand made 166 items for Friends for Life's "Gifts for Grannies" ministry which were delivered by Laura. A plastic canvas / yarn ornament craft with 50+ already-made ornaments were donated to the Adult Day Care as well. Thanks to all.
We celebrated November birthdays: Leigh, Sara, Denise, Amy, Christy, Ruth and Sue. Thanks to every one who brought the birthday snacks.
Four Troop 7064 Girl Scouts and two moms began to learn to knit thanks to teacher Kaitlan.

Karen finished an adorable sweater with whales on it - and it was too small so she is now working on another whale baby sweater.

Laura is crocheting blue/white scarves/hat for veterans and Special Olympics.
Kaitlan is knitting washcloths for class prep.
Sue is knitting a darling basket weave blanket.
Donna is knitting with cotton yarn.
Sharon is back from Germany.
Katie is knitting socks and will succeed!
Julie had a stunning knit shawl to donate to Mom of a Preemie.
Terry is crocheting.
Denise donated two super baby blankets and brought her friend Linda who is crocheting baby hats.
Beth and Roy just got back from Taos and bought several lovely fleeces they will spin into yarn.
Lindsay is spinning (and has started teaching fiberarts to the kiddos at her school!)
